Narratives, Ideas, and Skills for Personal and Social Resilience and Growth
Each chapter and personal growth book includes between 3 and 19 coauthors, with 3 to 5 coeditors, who hold different, and sometimes opposing, viewpoints of sexual and gender diversity.
They worked together to share ideas and skills related to each topic for the common good. In total, more than 100 researchers, clinicians, and community leaders contributed to this project. They joined this effort to correct bias and understand what they could agree on, even though they did not agree on everything.
These self-help resources are written for the general public. They may also be useful for academics, clinicians, researchers, religious leaders, parents, and other helpers.
They are intended for people across the political spectrum who want updated and integrated ideas and skills related to gender, romance, sexuality, consent, bodies, race and ethnicity, faith, purpose in life, families, emotional health, resilience, and relationships.
These resources were not created to push readers toward one life path or another, or to dismiss any personal choices.
Contributor biographies are available on their person growth book webpages, along with a resource list of the book's topic.
